A man is distressed over the expense of a prostate operation his doc-

tor has recommended, so he seeks the advice of a friend who had

the procedure.

“You should do what I did,” says the friend. “Go to Home Depot.”

The man looks at him, incredulous.

“They do that there?” he asks.

“Yup,” his friend replies proudly. “Any operation for $199.99!”

The man decides to go through with it, and months later they see

each other again.

“How did it go?” the friend asks.

“It was okay,” the man replies curtly.

Now concerned about his referral, the friend inquires, “Any side

effects?”

The man responds sheepishly, “Well, every time I pee, the garage

door opens.”
